Female condoms – protection that the woman puts on
A female condom is inserted into the vagina before intercourse. It is held in place by two rings: an inner ring deep inside the vagina and an outer ring that remains outside. It does not rely on the partner’s erection and does not need to be removed immediately after intercourse.
What you’ll find in this category
- UNIQ – Air Female, Lady, Passion Ring and MULTI SEX, 3 pieces per pack.
- Pasante Female (Internal) Condom – nitrile, with silicone lubricant, 3 pieces per pack.
All models are latex-free.
Who is it for
- For women who want to decide for themselves about contraception.
- For couples where one partner is allergic to latex.
- For people who find standard condoms too tight – the female condom is wider and does not fit tightly around the penis.
How to use
Putting one on takes a bit of practice, so it’s worth practising first in a relaxed setting, following the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not use a female condom and a male condom at the same time – friction between them may damage them.
Good to know
Condoms reduce the risk of pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, but no method offers complete protection. Before use, check the expiry date and read the manufacturer’s instructions.
