Sagami Original 0.01 L-Size, 1 pc — the thinnest Sagami series in the larger size

Sagami Original 0.01 L-Size is a single condom from Sagami's thinnest polyurethane series, in the larger L size. The width of 58 mm gives more room than the standard 0.01, while the wall stays about 0.018 mm thick. One piece lets you check the fit before buying the 5-pack.

How to use and lubricants

Use according to the manufacturer's leaflet. Polyurethane is resistant to oils, so water-based, silicone-based and oil-based lubricants can be used.

Choosing the size

Sizes in the Sagami Original series (nominal width is the width of the condom laid flat):

  • 0.02 standard and 0.02 ExtraLub: width 55 ± 2 mm, length 170 ± 10 mm.
  • 0.02 L-Size: width 58 ± 2 mm, length 190 ± 10 mm.
  • 0.02 XL-Size: width 60 ± 2 mm, length 195 ± 10 mm.
  • 0.01 L-Size: width 58 ± 2 mm, length 190 ± 10 mm, wall about 0.018 mm.

If the condom feels tight at the base, choose the next size up. If it slips or wrinkles, choose a smaller one. Polyurethane stretches less than latex, so the difference of a few millimetres is noticeable.

Worth knowing

Polyurethane is less elastic than latex, so size matters. If standard condoms are comfortable, the regular Sagami Original 0.01 is a better fit. Price per piece is higher than for latex condoms.
