NEW CARESS – five types of condoms in small packs
NEW CARESS is a brand of natural latex condoms from the LifeStyles group. All varieties are the same size – 52 mm wide and 180 mm long – and feature a neutral, odourless silicone lubricant; they are packed in packs of 3, making it easy to try out a few different types.
Who manufactures them and what certification do they have?
NEW CARESS condoms sold in the European Union are manufactured by SURETEX Ltd in Thailand – the same factory where other brands from the LifeStyles group are produced. They are a medical device bearing the CE mark; conformity is assessed by Notified Body No. 2797 – BSI Group The Netherlands B.V. Which version to choose
- Classic – smooth, classic shape, wall thickness 0.06 mm.
- Light – thinner wall, 0.04 mm.
- Safeness – thicker wall, 0.07 mm, if you’re looking for greater durability.
- Pleasure – ridges and ribs, anatomically shaped, 0.06 mm.
- Wet N Wild – more silicone lubricant, 0.06 mm.
How to use and store
Each condom is for single use only. Before use, read the instructions and check the expiry date; do not use a condom from a damaged or opened packet. Store it in a cool, dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight, and dispose of used condoms in the general waste, not down the toilet. If using additional lubricant, choose only one that is labelled as safe for latex condoms – oils can damage latex.
Good to know
Condoms are made from natural latex. If you are hypersensitive to or allergic to latex, choose latex-free condoms; if you experience irritation, a burning sensation or a rash, stop using them and consult a doctor. Condoms reduce the risk of pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, but no method of contraception offers complete protection.
