AKUEL – latex condoms in six varieties
AKUEL is a brand of natural latex condoms from the LifeStyles group. The range includes six varieties – from thinner and extra-lubricated options to a larger size and a model with a delay effect – available in packs of 8 and 14.
Who manufactures them and what certification do they have?
AKUEL condoms sold in the European Union are manufactured by SURETEX Ltd in Thailand – the same facility where other brands from the LifeStyles group are produced. They are a medical device bearing the CE mark; conformity is assessed by Notified Body No. 2797 – BSI Group The Netherlands B.V. The manufacturer’s authorised representative in the EU and importer is SXWell Belgium bvba, based in Belgium. Full contact details can be found on each AKUEL product page.

How to use and store
Each condom is for single use only. Read the instructions and check the expiry date before use; do not use a condom from a damaged or opened packet. Store them in a cool, dry place, away from heat and direct sunlight, and dispose of used condoms in the general waste, not down the toilet. If using additional lubricant, choose only one that is labelled as safe for latex condoms – oils can damage latex.
Good to know
Condoms are made from natural latex. If you are hypersensitive to or allergic to latex, choose latex-free condoms; if you experience irritation, a burning sensation or a rash, stop using them and consult a doctor. Condoms reduce the risk of pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, but no method of contraception offers complete protection.
